Governor urges people to participate in Earth Hour

Governor KT Paranaik has urged people of the state to participate in Earth Hour, calling it “a very important effort of the World Wide Fund for Nature.” “Earth Hour encourages people to take concrete action to reduce their carbon footprint. Encourages and advocates policies that support renewable energy, energy efficiency, and conservation efforts. It empowers individuals and communities to contribute to global efforts to mitigate climate change,” he said. Paranayaka also called for “innovation and creativity in finding sustainable solutions to environmental challenges” and urged citizens to “promote development by adopting clean technologies, green practices and eco-friendly lifestyles that are more resilient to the planet.” And can help create a sustainable future.
