Bilaspur. The team of Cyber Cell Bilaspur, with the help of National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCCRP) portal, returned Rs 1 lakh 73 thousand to a victim of fraud. Vinod Singh Rajput of Nehru Nagar had received a call from an unknown number a year ago. In the name of giving him a credit card, the swindler transferred Rs 1 lakh 73 thousand to his account. He immediately complained about this to Cyber Cell Bilaspur.
The police registered his complaint in the NCCRP portal and got the account of the accused frozen. After this, on the orders of the court, now the amount deposited in his account has been returned. Cyber Cell appealed to the people to avoid online fraud and said that they should not trust phone calls and messages coming from unknown numbers. Before trusting such phone calls and messages, please verify them, do not fall into the trap of earning money through shortcuts. If you become a victim of fraud, immediately call the number 1930 and register the information about the fraud or by searching the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal website on Google and register the information online yourself. You can also give information at the nearest police station or cyber cell office.
