While all the Muslim organizations are strongly opposing this, what did AIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi say – what claims did he put forward on behalf of Muslims
A do or die situation has arisen in the Parliament on the Waqf issue, tearing the copy of the bill expressed his opposition as well as that of the Muslims, saying – this is sheer injustice to the Muslims
New Delhi. In such a situation, when the Waqf issue is being opposed not only by some Muslim organizations with demonstrations across the country, but also in the Parliament of the country, there is a do or die situation between the ruling and opposition parties. On Thursday, a strange situation was seen in the Lok Sabha on this issue when AIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi tore the copy of the bill expressing his opposition amidst the commotion on the Waqf Amendment Bill.
When the speeches were going on in the Parliament on this issue, this strange situation was seen. Ignoring the interruptions in the House, Owaisi, in his long speech, called the said bill unconstitutional and said, “I too tear this bill.” This is sheer injustice to Muslims. Owaisi, while taking the side of Muslims, asked whether you want to make them owners. Citing the Sachchar Committee, he said that the value of divine property in Delhi is more than six crores. Today we have come to 2025. He asked why are you after divine properties. He did not hesitate to say that the one who is a murderer, encroacher will become the owner overnight and the non-Muslim will get the right over the Muslim property. This is a violation of the equal protection of the Constitution.
