First AI-Powered Virtual Reality Game on Metaverse Launched

BinaryX today announced its plans to expand into Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC). Further strengthening its GameFi expertise, BinaryX has reportedly tied up with its VR and AIGC partner, AiGC Labs, to develop a new GameFi genre of AI-based VR games.

According to the team, in collaboration with AiGC Labs, BinaryX is preparing to launch the first VR game that incorporates both VR and AIGC. The team has yet to release full details of the game, but has indicated that the game will be set in a universe full of diverse characters, inspired by heroes and characters from East Asian folklore.
Using ChatGPT and GameGPT for Game Design
The team revealed that they are experimenting with ChatGPT to create engaging gameplay, characters, and compelling narratives for their games. The AI model helped the team generate and refine ideas for world building, including ideas for environment layout, challenges, and level design. Apart from the AI-powered VR game, BinaryX is also working on a separate AI-powered game, which could be released sometime this year.
