Durg. A massive fire suddenly broke out at an aluminum factory in Patan district. The incident occurred at 3 a.m. on October 28th. The fire was spreading rapidly through the machinery and aluminum powder inside the factory, which could have escalated into a serious situation. Two fire brigade vehicles brought the fire under control within an hour. The incident occurred at the Anubhav Aluminum Works Private Limited factory located in Puneidih village, under the Patan police station area. Machinery and materials were damaged in the accident. No casualties were reported. The police are investigating the cause of the fire. This is the third fire incident in the district since Diwali.
Regarding the severity of the situation, the fire brigade continuously sprayed water from two fire engines to prevent the fire from spreading. After approximately an hour of effort, the fire was completely brought under control.
Due to the firefighters’ presence of mind and swift action, the fire did not spread to other parts of the factory or surrounding settlements, averting a major disaster. The fire reportedly damaged machinery and materials in the factory, but it is a matter of relief that there were no casualties.
The exact cause of the fire is still unclear. Initially, it is believed to be a fire caused by unknown causes. The Patan police station is investigating the incident.
