Jatni: The executive officer of Jatni Municipality has been arrested by Odisha Vigilance in Dispropertionate Assets (DA) case on Wednesday.
The accused executive officer has been identified as Suryamani Pattajoshi, Executive Officer, Jatni Municipality, Dist-Khordha.
As per reports, he has been placed under arrest by Odisha Vigilance for possession of disproportionate assets (DA). He will be forwarded today to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
In this connection, Vigilance Cell PS case No.3/2025 has been registered against the accused Suryamani Pattajoshi.
Based on searches conducted on properties of Suryamani Pattajoshi, Executive Officer, Jatni Municipality, Dist-Khordha, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 4 high value flats in Bhubaneswar, 2 multi storeyed buildings at Berhampur, 11 plots, gold ornaments approximately 475 gms, cash of Rs. 17 lakhs, deposits worth over Rs. 90 lakhs etc., which he could not account for satisfactorily.
Further investigation of the case is underway.
