Disabled children broke a lot of pots and ran a lot

Bhilai. The annual sports fair ‘Udaan’ organized by the social organization Golden Empathy (GE) Foundation for disabled children on Sunday was lively from morning to evening. More than 300 special children from different districts displayed their sports talent tremendously. These children not only broke the pots and ran but also surprised the guests by adding colors to their imagination in the drawing and painting competition. Guests from all government and non-government institutions not only praised these children but also described the initiative of the organizer GE Foundation as exemplary. The guests present on Sunday morning in the ground in front of Bhilai Niwas formally inaugurated ‘Udaan’ by symbolically flying balloons.

In the event, various arrangements were made for the special children from various institutions. Here the children participated with enthusiasm in drawing and painting. During this, various sports competitions were held for disabled children from morning to evening. In which these children left behind their physical disability and displayed their sports talent in the field. Anirban Dasgupta, Director-in-Charge of Bhilai Steel Plant, who attended the event, said that the work of GE Foundation in bringing special children from the society on one platform and giving them opportunities is incomparable. Executive Director (Medical and Health Services) of BSP, Dr. Ravindranath M. said that GE Foundation is fulfilling its responsibility towards special children very well, this is inspiring for all of us.

Deputy Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF) BS Pante fed laddus to these special children and called the entire event exemplary. Raju Father of St. Thomas Mission said that GE Foundation has made the society realize through its services towards disabled children that they also have a responsibility towards these special children. At the same time, youth leader Manish Pandey said that the message of the work that GE Foundation is doing for disabled children here is now going across the country. Deputy Inspector General of Police Prakhar Pandey praised the event while honoring the participating children. During this, the teachers who came with the children were also honored.
