Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao inspected the multi-village water supply scheme

Raigarh raigarh news. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw inspected various construction works during his Raigarh stay on Tuesday and gave necessary instructions. He inspected the water treatment plant under construction under the Bhelvatikara Sambalpuri Multi-Village Water Supply Scheme under Jal Jeevan Mission. He also saw the construction work of Raigarh-Punjipathra-Gharghoda-Dharamjaygarh road.

chhattisgarh news During the inspection of the water treatment plant under construction under the Bhelvatikara Sambalpuri Multi-Village Water Supply Scheme, officials of the Public Health Engineering Department told Deputy Chief Minister Saw that this water treatment plant is being prepared for water supply to 29 nearby villages. For this, raw water will be brought from Kelo Dam and treated. Saw took information about the functioning of the water treatment plant from the officials at the work site. He directed to complete all the works of the scheme within the stipulated time period. He also inspected the intake well of Kelo Dam from where water will be supplied to the treatment plant. Officials informed that the work of the base of the intake well has been completed. Now the work of the upper parts is being started. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw also inspected the construction work of Raigarh-Punjipathra-Gharghoda-Dharamjaygarh road and took information about other ongoing works. He gave instructions to pay special attention to the quality of all the works going on in the district and complete the work by doing continuous field inspection. The Public Works Department officials informed the Deputy Chief Minister that 56 km of work is being done on the Raigarh-Punjipathra-Gharghoda-Dharamjaygarh road. Construction work is going on at some places which will be completed in a week.
