Janjgir-Champa. The body of a person has been found in Pilari canal in village Jhulan of Janjgir-Champa district. The body was identified as that of Chhote Lal Divya (40 years). It is being told that Chhote Lal Divya was addicted to drinking alcohol. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and the body was sent for post-mortem. The incident took place in Pamgarh police station area. According to the information, the body of Chhote Lal Divya is lying in the Pilari canal of village Jhulan. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and the body was taken out from the canal. Deceased Chhote Lal was wearing a shirt and jeans. Panchnama of the dead body was processed and sent for post-mortem.
When the police investigated around the banks of the canal at the site of the incident, they found Gudakh boxes and plastic jugs at the spot. Besides, marks of foot slipping have also been found on the banks of Pilari Canal. The elder brother of the deceased Chhote Lal told that Chhote Lal was addicted to drinking alcohol. Pilari used to live alone in a small house on the banks of the canal. Was always in a state of intoxication. The people of the village informed that Chhote Lal had drowned in the canal water and died. Investigating officer head constable Ajay Kanwar said that the post-mortem of the body has been done. In the short PM report, the deceased Chhote Lal Divya is said to have died due to drowning in water under the influence of liquor. There is no doubt of any kind. The body has been handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
