Bastar. After the change of government in Bastar, the panic of Naxalites has increased and now Naxalites are continuously killing BJP leaders. In the last week, two BJP leaders have been murdered by Naxalites in Bijapur district, in view of which there is now an atmosphere of fear among all the leaders. The biggest concern for the leaders is that there is a danger to their lives if they go to the interior areas to campaign during the Lok Sabha elections.
In fact, as soon as the government was formed, Deputy CM and Home Minister Vijay Sharma proposed to hold talks with the Naxalites, on which the Naxalites also accepted the proposal for talks with some conditions. However, no further initiative was taken regarding this conversation. But now Naxalites are seen venting their anger on BJP leaders. BJP spokesperson Sanjay Pandey blamed the Congress and said that the Naxalites have increased their strength in the last five years of the Congress government and the result is coming to the fore. Even when Congress was in government, target killing of BJP leaders was being done and now that the government has changed and strict security arrangements are being made, camps are being opened at various places. Due to this frustration, Naxalites are killing BJP leaders. This is not only a threat to BJP but also to Congress leaders.
