Bhopal: The holy festival of Mahashivratri is being celebrated with great pomp in Madhya Pradesh today also. The process of Shiva devotees arriving in Shiva temples across the state including the capital Bhopal has started since morning. On this auspicious occasion, attractive decorations have been made in all the temples. The process of arrival of devotees started in the cave temples and other Shiva temples of the capital Bhopal since morning. Crowd of devotees is also being seen in Bhojpur temple. People are worshiping and anointing Lord Bholenath with full devotion. On this auspicious occasion, attractive decorations have been made in the temples. In view of the festival, all kinds of security arrangements have been made by the police administration.
Governor Mangubhai Patel greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Mahashivratri and said that the blessings of Lord Shiva be upon all of you on this holy festival. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav received blessings by visiting and worshiping Baba Mahakal at Mahakaleshwar temple today on the holy festival of Mahashivratri. Crowds of devotees gathered in Shiva temples across the state including Bhopal in the capital.
