Durg. Durg Police on Saturday detained four youths and one minor for performing dangerous stunts on a motorcycle and shooting its video. The youth performed a stunt on Republic Day, the video of which was continuously going viral on social media. Taking cognizance of the viral video, Senior Superintendent of Police Durg Ram Gopal Garg himself directed to take immediate action. Following which, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police City Abhishek Jha and City Superintendent of Police Bhilai Nagar Vishwa Deepak Tripathi, Police Station Incharge Supela Durgesh Sharma, while taking continuous action against the stunt bikers, today investigated the viral video and searched for their address. On which 5 stunt riders riding on bikes were brought to the police station for questioning, on questioning they confessed to their crime.
On which a crime was registered in Supela police station and the bike was confiscated. In which 4 adults and 1 minor were detained. Explanation was given to all of them on which they also took an oath not to do any such bike stunt in future. Police station Supela seized 05 vehicles under Section 279 and took action under Section 183(1), 184,189,194(d), 37/177, 3/181,5/180 of the Motor Vehicle Act and arrested 04 youths and 1 minor. Detained. In which Raj Anuragi Risali, Pradeep Prajapati Sector 6, Sinta Sonu Ghasidas Nagar, Sanjay Sona were found to be from Sector 5 Bhilai. Appeal/Warning – All parents are requested not to allow their children to drive modified vehicles, to refuse to drive at high speed, otherwise action is being taken by the traffic police to confiscate such vehicles and under the Motor Vehicle Act. The license is being suspended after charging a fine, for which they themselves will be held responsible.
