Crime: A young man was killed due to a dispute between two parties

Sirsa: A case of brutal murder of a youth by stabbing him with knives has come to light in Sirsa. The murder was committed late at night. The deceased youth has been identified as Harpreet Singh. It is said that the deceased Harpreet Singh was consuming alcohol with his relatives till late night and were talking about the issue of intoxication and both of them got into an argument over intoxication, after which Harpreet Singh’s relative got angry and brutally murdered his own brother by stabbing him with knives.
The accused has fled from the spot after committing this incident. The police has sent the body of the deceased to the Civil Hospital of Sirsa for post-mortem. The deceased and the murder accused are cousins. On the statement of the family members of the deceased, a case of murder has been registered against the accused and investigation has been started. At present, the police has started investigating the accused. The age of the deceased is said to be only 24 years and at present the deceased youth was unmarried.
Jaswinder Singh, a relative of the deceased, said that Balwinder Singh and his son Ashu smuggle drugs in Sirsa. The police were informed about this many times but the police did not take any action. He said that Balwinder Singh and his son have now started doing the drug business openly from their house, when Harpreet Singh opposed it, Balwinder Singh attacked him with knives and killed him. The family is now demanding justice from the police in this case and demanding strict action against the accused. The DSP of Sirsa said that information was received about the murder of a youth late at night, on which the statements of the family members of the deceased are now being recorded. There is a mutual conflict behind the murder. He said that according to the family members of the deceased, Balwinder Singh does the drug business, which is being investigated. He said that on the basis of the statement of the family members of the deceased, a case of murder has been registered against the accused.
