New Delhi: Copper prices fell marginally by Rs 6.05 to Rs 727.20 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as traders cut their deals amid weak spot demand.
At MCX, copper contracts for delivery in February fell by Rs 6.05, or 0.83 per cent, to Rs 727.20 per kg with a turnover of 4,548 lots.
According to market analysts, copper prices fell in futures trade mainly due to trimming of their deals by speculators amid weak demand in the spot market.
