Congress councilor had cheated BSP employee, arrested

Durg. In the district, a BSP employee was defrauded of Rs 10 lakh in the name of selling someone else’s land as his own. Police has arrested Congress councilor Sanjay Deshalhare. FIR was registered only 4 months ago on the orders of the court. But no arrest was made. The incident took place in Jamul police station area. TI Keshav Koshale told that in the year 2019, Councilor Sanjay Deshalhare had made a deal of 5 thousand square feet of second land in Jamul with a BSP worker for Rs 20 lakh. After the deal was done, the victim gave Rs 7 lakh and Rs 3 lakh in cash to the accused councilor through RTGS on 8 May 2019. It was decided to give the remaining Rs 10 lakh at the time of land registration.

The accused councilor had told the victim that he would get the land registered within a year, but even after a year had passed, the accused did not get the land registered. When the victim BSP worker asked the councilor to get the land registered, the accused kept evading him continuously. When the victim became suspicious, when he collected information about the land, he came to know that the land was not in the name of Sanjay Deshalhare, but in the name of someone else. After this the victim complained to the police.

The police did not take any action on the victim’s complaint. After which a petition was filed in the court. On the basis of which the police ordered to register an FIR against the accused under sections of fraud and forgery. On which the police had registered an FIR against the accused.
