Collector inspected the district hospital

Bilaspur. Bilaspur. Collector Avnish Sharan inspected the district hospital today. He directed the officials to expand and organize public facilities in the hospital. He has asked to investigate the land around the hospital and submit a report. It is worth noting that the government has approved the establishment of a 75-bedded critical care unit for Bilaspur, the only district hospital in the state. 10 thousand square feet of land is needed for its construction. The collector visited the hospital premises and instructed to mark the land. He has asked to complete the under-construction Hummer Lab, Burn Unit and Isolation Ward in the district hospital in the next 10 days and hand it over to the hospital administration.

With the start of Hummer Lab, 117 types of testing facilities will be available free of cost to the patients. The collector has asked to arrange the medicine shops of Jan Aushadhi, Dhanvantri and Red Cross at one place in the premises. At present, these medicine shops are at different places, due to which patients have to wander. The collector directed to start the water ATM in the district hospital, which has been closed for the last two years, in a week. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Anil Gupta, Hospital Consultant Dr. Shefali, District Coordinator of Red Cross Society Saurabh Saxena, Water Incharge of Municipal Corporation Anupam Tiwari, Jeevan Deep Committee member Amit Singh and other officials were present.
