Deogarh: Odisha CM Mohan Majhi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh for the family of the deceased candidate during physical test of Home guard recruitment.
According to information, a candidate lost his life while appearing for the physical test of Home guard in Deogarh. The physical test was taking place in the Reserve police ground for the post of Home guards.
The candidate was identified as Saheba Dehury (19), the son of Pradeep Dehunry of Budido village in the Reamal block of Deogarh district.
The Chief Minister taking to his X handle and expressed grief over the loss of life of the candidate during the physical test for the recruitment of home guards in Deogarh Reserve Police Station. He further announced to pay an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
