Moradabad. On Monday, the police station arrested the accused of duping a student of Rs 45,500 in the name of getting admission in BSC Nursing course of a private university located in Pakbada area of Moradabad.
Police Station Pakbada in-charge Rajeev Kumar Sharma said that on the basis of Tahrir, student Rishabh Chaudhary, a resident of Bhartal Madhapur village of district Sambhal, had registered a case of cheating and threatening on Sunday. In which the victim student Rishabh had told that Rohit Pal and Tushar Pal of his village had taken Rs 45,500 on the pretext of getting admission in BSC Nursing course in the private university of Delhi Road Pakbada. He told that when he asked for the money back from the accused Rohit Pal and Tushar Pal for not getting admission, the accused had threatened to kill him.
Pakbada SHO said that on Monday evening, the police team of Pakbada police station arrested the accused Rohit Pal and Tushar Pal, residents of Bharataul village under Hazratnagar Garhi police station area of Sambhal. While ₹ 19,500/- has been recovered from the arrested Rohit and ₹ 20,500/- from Tushar. Inspector Rajeev Kumar Sharma said that during interrogation, both the accused confessed that their third accomplice is Rizwan, a resident of Guraitha Road, Pakbada village, who runs a cyber cafe. Both the accused had prepared fake admission letters, fee receipts etc. to cheat with the help of Rizwan. Action was taken against the three accused in other sections including cheating, making fake documents, threatening. He told that the search for the third accused Rizwan is on, soon he will also be arrested.
