Kerala: For 42 years Chavakkad Vallabhatta Kalarisangam practiced Kalari in front of Ayyappan. A group of 14 people performed Kalariyabhyaas at the Sannidhanam Sri Dharma Sastha auditorium under the tutelage of Krishnadas Gurus. His son has continued the Kalari practice performance at Sabarimala Sannidhanam, which was started by Krishnadas Gurus father, Padmashri Guru Sankaranarayana Menon.
117 people practice Kalari at the Kalari Sangham, which has 14 branches in Thrissur district. The troupe performed Kalarivandanam, Puliyanka Payat, Muchan Payat, Kaluyarthi Payat, Mayapayaat, Katara Payat, Udaval Payat, Hidden Spear, Vadaiveshaal, Urumi Payat, Kathi and Block, Single Step and Group Step. Goa National Games gold medallists Ajeesh, Gokul, Anand, Vinayak, Khelo India Khelo gold medallists Abhinandan and Gokul Krishna etc. demonstrated the drills. Krishnadas Gurus were accompanied by Rajeev Guru and Dineshan Guru.
