Chandigarh: One person arrested on charges of robbery

Chandigarh: Police have arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly robbing a Punjab resident. Sandeep Singh said his mother is admitted at PGI. On August 17, he had gone to Sector 11 to buy coconuts and while returning, he hired an auto. There was already a passenger sitting in the auto.
The auto driver and his accomplices took the complainant towards Dhanas lake and robbed him of Rs 20,000 and mobile phone. Police registered a case at Sector 11 police station. During investigation, accused Deepak alias Kallu, resident of Khuda Lahora village, was arrested.
