These accused, along with their accomplices, used to carry out loot incidents on the pretext of asking names and addresses of helpless and elderly women in the rural areas adjacent to the city. The police seized gold jewelery worth Rs 3 lakh from the accused and the motorcycle used in the incident. According to the police, all the accused are habitual criminals, against whom many cases of robbery have been registered in different districts. Along with this, he has also gone to jail many times.
