CG Crime: Drunk father kills son, sensation spreads

Pithora. In Pithora block under Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh, a drunken father has shamed the relationship. One killed his own son. According to the information, in the first incident on Friday, Diwan Kumar (55 years), a resident of Kamarpara village of Pithora, drank alcohol like every day and fought with his wife and son at home.

After this, the wife of drunkard Diwan Kumar left her son Raju Kumar (22 years) alone at home and went to see the Rath Yatra in the nearby village Charoda.

As soon as the wife left, the drunkard started fighting with his son again and during this time, the accused father Diwan, taking the opportunity, attacked his own son’s chest with a sharp weapon, due to which he died on the spot. As soon as the incident was reported, Pithora police reached the spot and arrested the accused father Diwan Kumar. The police has started investigation by taking action against the accused under section 103 of BNS (Indian Justice Code).
