CG BREAKING: 4-year-old child falls from emergency window, chaos ensues

Rajnandgaon. Rajnandgaon. 4-year-old Sagnik Bera fell from the emergency window of Kurla-Shalimar Express at 6 pm on June 10 in Rajnandgaon. This accident happened on the down line of Dongargarh-Jatkanhar railway section. The child’s mother Anandita Bera is a resident of East Midnapore, West Bengal. She was going from LTT to Kharagpur with her son. While climbing to the upper seat in coach S-3, the child suddenly fell down from the window. The train stopped due to the mother’s scream and the ACP pulling the chain. Railway Protection Force personnel immediately reached the spot. The injured child was first taken to the Community Health Center Dongargarh. From there he was referred to Pendri Medical College, Rajnandgaon.
On the instructions of Divisional Security Commissioner Deepchand Arya, Inspector-in-charge of RPF post Rajnandgaon, Taruna Sahu immediately sent her team to Pendri Hospital. Seeing the serious condition of the child, he was referred to DKS Hospital in Raipur. RPF also safely removed the child’s luggage left in the train. Essential items, medicines and other necessary things were also provided to the mother. This quick action of RPF not only saved the child’s life, but the family also got all possible help. The child was immediately sent to DK Hospital Raipur by ambulance, where he was given CT scan and other medical checkups. According to the doctors, now the child’s condition is stable and he has been shifted to the ward.
