CBSE Class 12th Exam: Score verification process cancelled after results

Tamil Nadu: In an effort to improve transparency and efficiency in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)’s public examinations, the process of correcting marks after the release of Class 12 CBSE exam results will be discontinued this year.

CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said, “Due to errors in adding marks, students will apply for corrections after the results are released.”

Editing answer sheets digitally through a computer instead of manually will eliminate editing errors.

He said, “In this situation, since CBSE is completely switching to digital correction and checking of answer sheets, the process of correcting marks will be discontinued after the release of Class 12 CBSE General exam results this year.” However, the direct correction of answer sheets for Class 10 General exam will continue.
