In the encounter, the soldiers killed 7 Naxalites worth Rs 40 lakh. These included Naxalite Ramchandra alias Karthik alias Dasru, who had a reward of Rs 25 lakh on his head. Bastar IG Sundarraj P. said that 6 days after the encounter, the police got information that during the encounter, the Naxalites had sent villagers and children forward to save their leader Ramchandra. During this time, 4 minors were shot in the firing. They were being treated with herbs in the village itself.
At the same time, the police claim that about 4 to 5 Naxalites were also injured in the encounter. Their comrades are treating them in the jungle of Abujhmad itself. At the same time, efforts are being made to take the minors who were shot out of the village and bring them to the hospital.
