Bullet fired in the sound of firecracker, police issued challan of Rs 5 thousand

Kawardha. The traffic police is using a heavy hammer in Kawardha. Crackdown is being taken against bike riders who burst crackers using modified silencers and drive bullets at high speed. Besides, the youth are being advised to remove the modified silencer and use only the silencer installed by the company. During this time, the police caught a Bullet driver with a modified silencer and issued a challan of Rs 5000 against him.

Actually, the young man was driving Bullet number CG 09 JM 8419 at high speed and the bike was also making the sound of firecrackers. During checking, the police noticed the youth and he was stopped. After this the traffic police issued a challan to the bike driver. During this time, the bike drivers also pleaded with the police not to issue challan, but the police did not listen.

To reduce road accidents in Kabirdham district, traffic awareness campaign is being run continuously by the traffic police. On the instructions of Kabirdham Superintendent of Police Dr. Abhishek Pallav, Additional Superintendent of Police Vikas Kumar, Pushpendra Baghel, under the guidance of Traffic In-charge Praveen Khalkho, a special campaign was conducted at Signal Chowk today to stop people bursting firecrackers using modified silencers and driving bullet vehicles at high speed. Disciplinary action was taken against the drivers and they were advised to remove the modified silencer and use only the one installed by the company.
