Bulldozer ran on encroachment of 11 acres of land

Bilaspur. 94 people have encroached upon about 11 acres of government land in Khamtarai, which is included in the Bilaspur Municipal Corporation limits. The matter was revealed when the administration conducted an investigation. The investigation revealed that Mani Shankar Tyagi, who was living illegally on the same government land, has sold the government land in pieces to other people. After the investigation, the administration has now lodged an FIR against 8 land brokers in the case. 6 people have been arrested in the case. Meanwhile, the encroachment squad of the corporation has also started demolition action.

Just before the 2019 urban body elections, Khamtarai Gram Panchayat was included in the limits of Bilaspur Municipal Corporation. Before and after this, gradually 94 people encroached upon 11 acres of government land here and built houses and shops.

Along with this, two acres of government land allotted to the Brahmin community was also occupied. The people of the community complained about this to Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar. On which SDM Piyush Tiwari got the matter investigated, it was found that a person named Mani Shankar Tyagi had occupied government land and built a shop.
