BSF recovers 5 kg heroin dropped by Pak drone near Punjab border

Chandigarh (IANS) | The Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday seized over 5 kg of narcotics dropped by a drone near the International Border in Punjab’s Amritsar sector. BSF said that deployed BSF personnel heard sound of drone and something being dropped in the fields near Rai village.

On search, a huge packet of 5.260 kg of heroin was recovered.

Punjab has a 553 km long international border with Pakistan along a barbed wire fence.
