BrahMos and Akash defense systems to be included in school curriculum

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan hinted at adding new chapters on BrahMos and Akash defense system in the school curriculum in all Indian languages. More stress will be laid on research oriented learning to develop the interest of students towards the research field.

According to officials, Chandrayaan’s success was added to the syllabus in a storytelling format and was received well by the students. On the same lines the success saga of BrahMos and Akash missiles will be retold to children.

The Pahalgam terror attack has turned a month old and following the terrorist attack on 26 people, India took a stern step and destroyed its airports and terrorist hideouts.

India bought the BrahMos missile from Russia and has been named after the rivers Brahmaputra and Moskva river of Russia.
