Lucknow. BJP has got a big victory in the voting held on Tuesday for 10 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. All the candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have won. Whereas SP has got two seats. Samajwadi Party had to lose on one seat. Voting for 10 Rajya Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, which started from 9 am on Tuesday, ended at 4 pm. After which the counting of votes took place till late evening. On the victory of BJP candidates, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “Today all our eight candidates have won, I congratulate all of them and if two SP candidates have won, I also congratulate them.”
Let us tell you that there is a contest between eight candidates of BJP and three candidates of SP. Seven SP MLAs have also been accused of cross voting. An official gave this information regarding voting. According to official information, at present there are 399 members in the 403-member Assembly of Uttar Pradesh, out of which 395 members exercised their votes. Earlier, presiding officer of the election, Brijbhushan Dubey had said, “Voting will be held from 9 am to 4 pm and counting of votes will start from 5 pm and the results are likely to be declared tonight.”
Many senior leaders including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav reached the Assembly in the morning for voting. After casting his vote, Yogi Adityanath shared his victory pose on social media platform ‘X’ and said, “Ensuring my participation in the biennial elections of Rajya Sabha, I voted today at Vidhan Bhawan, Lucknow. Hearty best wishes to all BJP candidates for victory. ,

Deputy Chief Minister and Legislative Council member Keshav Prasad Maurya, who reached the Assembly, told reporters, “Akhilesh Yadav made a mistake by fielding his third candidate and he does not have enough numerical strength.” Maurya said, “SP has become a ‘totalitarian party’.” Has gone and all eight candidates of BJP will win. Deputy Chief Minister Pathak also claimed that all the candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are going to win. Speaking to reporters before casting his vote at Tilak Hall of the Assembly, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that those who are looking for “benefits” in this situation will go away. Criticizing the BJP, Yadav said that it will use all tactics to win the elections. He also made it clear that action will be taken against the rebels.
