Bhopal: Early morning raid on Iranian camp, 32 people arrested

Madhya Pradesh: In a major crackdown on organized crime, local police conducted a large-scale early morning operation at the Irani Dera in Nishatpura’s Aman Colony on Sunday morning, arresting 32 people, including women and notorious and wanted criminals.
The Irani Dera is notorious for harboring wanted criminals from outside cities and states. Police recovered a fake pistol, a fake ID card and microphone from Kala Irani.
DCP Zone 4, Mayur Khandelwal, stated that the operation was conducted during a planned combing patrol with police teams from several police stations, based on information that several absconding and wanted criminals were hiding in the area.
During the raid, police faced resistance from some local residents, including women, who attempted to obstruct official duty. Police registered a separate case for obstruction and arrested several of them. Despite protests, the teams detained wanted criminals taking shelter in the Dera.
