BC Welfare Minister pledges to solve public problems

Rajamahendravaram: State BC Welfare, Information, Public Relations and Cinematography Minister Cheluboina Srinivas Venugopala Krishna inspected the supply of essential commodities at 19th Ward Kannamba Street here on Sunday.

On this occasion, he said that ration is being distributed to 5.73 lakh families through 364 mobile delivery vehicles in the district. He said that the AP government has brought a new trend in the country by delivering essential things to the beneficiaries at their doorstep through MDU vehicles.

He said that 8118 MT rice, 263 MT sugar, 562 MT wheat flour and 562 MT pulses are being distributed to the beneficiaries every month.

Later, the minister inaugurated the secretariat buildings constructed at a cost of Rs 40 lakh and the YSR Health Clinic constructed at a cost of Rs 20.80 lakh at Piddingoyi village in Rajahmundry rural mandal. The foundation stone of the road work to be built at a cost of Rs 3.75 crore was laid. He assured that if people tell their problems, steps will be taken to solve the problems.
