Baijnath: A youth died after drowning in Binwa ravine in Chaubu under Baijnath police station. The deceased has been identified as Vishal alias Veeru resident of Nagehad (Chaubu). According to information received from the police, on Friday Vishal, who used to work as a welder, went to the ravine to take a bath with his friends. During this time they got busy talking. A loud sound came from where Vishal was bathing. During this time two youths tried to pull Vishal out, after which the people present there pulled Vishal out of the ravine. After this Vishal was brought to Baijnath Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Baijnath DSP Anil Sharma said that the police has started further investigation in this matter. He said that the post-mortem of the body will be done on Saturday and the body will be handed over to the family.
