Mumbai: Six people have been arrested for trying to extort Rs 164 crore from a real estate developer in Mumbai, getting an Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation started against him and threatening to kill him if the money was not paid. . Police gave this information on Wednesday.
According to an officer of the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police, the main accused in this case is also a builder, who was once the partner of the complainant in a real estate project.
