ITANAGAR: A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday, an official said. There were no immediate reports of injuries or property damage. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 8:57 am, with its epicenter at a depth of 5 kilometers. Nyelum Sunil, a technical officer at the Seismology Division of the Centre for Earth Sciences and Himalayan Studies in Itanagar, said a mild earthquake occurred in West Kameng district this morning. “So far, there are no reports of loss of life or property,” the official said.
