ITANAGAR: In a milestone for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector in Northeast India, Delhi-based Laghu Udyog Bharati officially formed its Arunachal Pradesh state unit recently.
The event was spearheaded by the Laghu Udyog Bharati’s Team Northeast.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by MLA Dr Mohesh Chai, among others.
Key speakers included Laghu Udyog Bharati all India organising secretary Prakash, national general secretary Om Prakash Gupta, purvottar prant president Partha Pratim Pathak, Arunachal prant pracharak Kamlesh, and Arunachal unit convener Hinium Takung.
The event also witnessed the presence of senior officials from various government departments, bankers, institutions, MSME members of Laghu Udyog Bharati, and guests who travelled from all across India to witness the launch.
The executive committee of the Laghu Udyog Bharati’s Arunachal unit is set to be led by Nima Sona as president, and Gollo Nyanya as secretary.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries emphasised that the establishment of the Arunachal unit is a monumental step towards fostering a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in the frontier state.
The state’s vast untapped potential in handloom, handicrafts, agro-based industries, and local manufacturing is expected to get a massive boost under the guidance of Laghu Udyog Bharati’s national network.
