Dhamtari. The accused who uploaded obscene videos and photos has been arrested. A written letter was received from NCRB New Delhi in connection with the cyber tip line report of the information in which pornographic videos/photos related to children on various social media by the mobile number of the accused, dated 12.04.2023, through the cyber tip line of NCRB branch New Delhi. On receiving the report of May CD for action in connection with the report, crime against Tajendra Gupta father Sukhram Gupta, aged 28 years, Sakin Bhathagaon police station Kurud, due to crime section 67 (A), 67 ( B) Information Technology (Amendment) Act 2008 and Section 14 of the POCSO Act were found to have occurred and the crime was taken into consideration by Kurud police station.
On which, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Megha Tembhurkar Sahu, under the leadership of SDOP Krishna Kumar Patel, taking prompt action, the Panchnama was prepared by looking at the video CD received from NCRB during deliberations. Taking the accused Tajendra Gupta into custody, on the statement of the interrogation memorandum, he accepted to make the pornographic video related to children viral on the social media mobile, on which after opening the mobile of the accused, taking out the screen short of the profile photo of the Facebook ID, the screen short and mobile Vivo-Y- 31 and the SIM card used was seized. Sufficient evidence was found to have committed the crime against the accused, and the accused has been duly arrested on 17.06.2023 and sent on judicial remand.
