Italian company Aprilia has launched its most affordable motorcycle Tuono 457 in the Indian market. The bike comes at a price of Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Tuono 457 is powered by 457cc parallel-twin motor and has Bluetooth connectivity. Aprilia is offering the Tuono 457 in two colours – Piranha Red and Puma Grey.

Design, features
The Aprilia Tuono 457 has a different style in comparison to the Tuono 660 or the Tuono V4. These two motorcycles are not available for the Indian market they are sold internationally. The new Aprilia bike features a centre-set LED headlight and DRLs. However, the 457 does not have any large fairings or panels, which is just like typical Tuono style.
It also features all-LED lights, traction control, ride modes, switchable ABS, and a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
Powertrain
A 457cc parallel-twin motor powers the Tuono 457. The same engine is also used in the RS 457. The 457cc parallel-twin motor generates 46.9bhp of power and 43.5Nm of torque. It gets a six-speed gearbox. Like the RS, Aprilia offers the Tuono 457 with a quickshifter as an optional extra.
The bike rides on 17-inch wheels and suspension duties are carried by preload-adjustable USD forks and monoshock, while the braking duties are done by a disc brake at both front and rear. It also include dual-channel ABS.
Aprilia Tuono 457 Price, rivals
The price Tuono 457 is set at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Aprilia Tuono 457 rivals the KTM 390 Duke and the Yamaha MT-03. It is by Rs. 1 lakh more than the KTM 390 Duke that has a cost of Rs 2.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Meanwhile it costs Rs 45,000 more than the Yamaha MT-03, which is priced at Rs 3.50 lakh.
