Announcement of Ratanpur bandh today, additional police force deployed there

Bilaspur. The suspicious functioning of the police in Bilaspur has once again created a Biranpur-like situation. After sending the rape victim’s mother to jail, Hinduist organizations surrounded the Ratanpur police station late on Saturday evening. He has warned to give justice to the victim while demanding suspension of the responsible policemen including TI. Along with this, it has been announced to close Ratanpur on Sunday. Here, in view of the deteriorating condition, the police has also been alerted and additional force has been deployed in Ratanpur.

On Saturday, people of Hindu organization took out a rally in Ratanpur and surrounded the police station and created a lot of ruckus in protest against registration of counter case against the rape victim’s mother. While raising slogans against the police, they also presented bangles to the policemen. During this, a large number of people were involved, who protested by burning tires on the road. The protesters have demanded the removal of Ratanpur TI and action against him. In view of the worsening situation after the uproar, the Tehsildar along with Additional SP City, SDOP Kota stayed in the police station till late night. At the same time, police personnel from all over the district have been called to Ratanpur. There was ruckus here for about two hours. The agitators have announced the closure of Ratanpur today i.e. on Sunday if the victim does not get justice. Along with this, there has been a warning of fierce agitation.
