Angul: The Angul Satkoshia tiger sanctuary has been provided with 12 state-of-the-art patrolling vans. Apart from this, patrolling vans have also been provided to Balukhand Sanctuary and Kapilas Sanctuary in Odisha.
As per reports, the said patrolling vehicles were launched in an event that was held today near the Bharatpur Sanctuary in Bhubaneswar. Satyabrata Sahu, the Additional Principal Secretary of the Forest Department and Wildlife PCCF Sushant Nanda launched the vehicles.
Reportedly, these state-of-the-art patrolling vehicles have been provided to enhance the efficiency of the range office of the sanctuary. This patrolling van will be engaged in the protection of animals. This patrol van also has GPS navigation and wildlife rescue system.
The PCCF also informed that soon tigers will come to the Angul Satkoshia tiger sanctuary.
