Andhra News: TD, JS workers pelt stones at former minister Jogi Ramesh’s residence
Vijayawada. Vijayawada: Ruling Telugu Desam and Jana Sena workers on Sunday pelted stones at the residence of former minister Jogi Ramesh on Ferryghat Road under the limits of Ibrahimpatnam police station. Ibrahimpatnam police said four to five people arrived at the former minister’s residence in a car around 2.30 pm and pelted stones. A police constable posted at the former minister’s house tried to apprehend them, following which they fled from the spot in the same car.
Based on the complaint, the Ibrahimpatnam police registered a case. The police conducted interrogation and detained five people in this connection. Condemning the attack, the YSRC shared a video on X, alleging that goons of TD and JS were behind the attack. The YSRC said they came in a car with registration number AP39KD3267 and pelted stones at the former minister’s residence and tried to attack the police constable present there.
