An employee was repairing electricity in a pole in front of the court, died due to electric shock

Khairagarh. Big negligence of the electricity department has come to light in the district, where an employee of the electricity department died due to electrocution. The whole matter is of Khairagarh city. Here the electricity department was doing transformer replacement and line repair work today. Due to this, 26 year old employee Santosh Mandavi had climbed the pole in front of the local court, but the department neither stopped the electric flow of the pole nor any kind of safety standards were followed. Due to this, Santosh Mandavi, who was climbing the pole, died due to electric shock.

People nearby immediately took Santosh Mandavi to Civil Hospital Khairagarh, where doctors declared him dead. According to eyewitnesses, all the top officials of the electricity department were present at the spot at the time of Santosh’s death, but Santosh had climbed the electric pole in front of all the officials without any security and without switching off the power supply. In such a situation, many questions are being raised on the working system of the electricity department officials.
