Raipur. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a visit to Chhattisgarh on February 7th. According to the schedule, he will arrive in Raipur on Saturday night. The following day, Sunday, he will hold a high-level review meeting on the Naxalite situation. After this, Amit Shah will leave for Bastar, where he will attend the closing ceremony of the Pandum festival.

Amit Shah’s visit comes at a time when the deadline of March 31, 2026, set by the central government for the elimination of Naxalism, is fast approaching. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself had publicly announced this deadline. Earlier, Amit Shah had visited Bastar on October 4, 2025, to attend the world-famous Bastar Dussehra festival.

Security forces are continuously conducting operations in Naxal-affected areas, including Chhattisgarh. With only about two months left until the deadline, Amit Shah’s visit is considered extremely important in terms of the direction of anti-Naxal operations and future strategy.
