Chhattisgarh. Chandu Yadu, the appointed spokesperson of MLA Yashoda Neelambar Verma in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, celebrated the suspension of the sarpanch by bursting crackers, along with his colleagues. Not only this, he also looted applause from the people by talking loudly. During this, dock work was going on there, where talks related to the sarpanch were also happening. Chandu Yadu resorted to hooliganism after listening to his words. When the Patel of the village tried to handle the matter, he also abused him. The villagers shouted slogans against this indecent behavior of the spokesperson and by gheraoing the Salhewara police station demanded his arrest by giving a written application.
When the women were going back home after finishing work, Chandu Yadu once again got involved with them and started abusing them. When a person from the village tried to explain, he beat him up. After this the villagers became even more furious. Angered by the antics of the MLA spokesperson, the villagers raised slogans and said that the MLA imposes goons on us by making them spokespersons, so that they can scare us. Villagers warned that MLA Yashoda Neelambar Verma should suspend his spokesperson soon, otherwise we will protest even more fiercely.
Tell that, this entire Vananchal region proves to be decisive in the Khairagarh assembly elections. Any candidate who gets one-sided vote in this area, be it Komal Janghel, Girwar Janghel, Devvrat Singh himself or Yashoda Verma, their victory is certain. But a Congress leader, that too an MLA spokesperson, when the villagers are uniting against him and accusing him of assault and bullying, then opposite results can be seen in the assembly elections.
