Alcatel V3 Series to launch in India on May 27, company gives official confirmation

French mobile manufacturing brand- Alcatel is all set to launch its new series of smartphone in India. Alcatel has officially announced that it will be launching Alcatel V3 Ultra model in India on May 27. Reports have even suggested that it will be joined by Alcatel V3 Pro and V3 Classic. For those who are unknown, Alcatel is operated by TCL Communication.

Alcatel has confirmed through a post on its official X handle that the V3 series will be unveiled in India on May 27 at 12pm IST. Even though the company has acknowledged only the Alcatel V3 Ultra model, it can be assumed that it will be joined by Alcatel V3 Pro and V3 Classic. The Alcatel V3 series will go on sale through Flipkart.

The Alcatel V3 Ultra that was teased earlier will offer a rear circular rear camera setup that has three lenses along with a LED flash. There is also support for stylus. The smartphone gets a flat display and there is a punch-hole camera in it. The smartphone will offer dedicated display modes for different tasks like reading, watching, and scrolling. This means that the device will get TCL’s NXTPAPER display. The V3 series from Alcatel will be Made in India and the company has associated with Padget Electronics for the same.

Specifications

The Alcatel V3 Ultra is expected to offer a 6.8-inch display with refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is tipped to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

Speaking about the camera specs, the device will offer 108-MP primary rear camera along with 32MP selfie camera. A massive 5010mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging is offered on the device. The smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 30,000 in India.
