Koraput: Odisha vigilance today arrested S. Partha Sarathi Bisoi, the Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator (ADEO) of Batasana GP under Kotpad Block in Koraput district for possessing disproportionate assets (DA) to the tune of 300% of his known sources of income, which he could not account for satisfactorily.
After arresting Bisoi, the Vigilance sleuths forwarded him to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore and registered Koraput Vigilance PS Case No.03 dated 14.02.2025 against him and his spouse U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(b)/12 PC (Amendment) Act,2018.
During house searches, the following movable and immovable assets worth crores were unearthed in the name of S. Partha Sarathi Bisoi, Accountantcum-Data Entry Operator and his family members;
Triple storeyed building located with area approx. 4500 Sqft. at Pailo sahi, Boriguma, Dist-Koraput.
One building with area approx. 2400 Sqft. located at village Champia, PS-Boriguma, Dist-Koraput.
Another building located at village Champia, PS-Boriguma, DistKoraput.
One Cashewnut Processing Unit namely M/s. Sai Krishna Enterprises of Bisoi spread over area approx. 8561 Sqft. located at Champia, PS-Boriguma, Dist-Koraput.
16 nos. of plots in Champia, Boriguma & Gandhi Nagar, Nabarangpur.
Cash Rs.2,45,000/- of Bisoi.
Bank & Insurance deposits worth around Rs 19 Lakhs in the name of Bisoi & family members.
Gold jewellery weighing 285 gms & silver ornaments 706 gms of Bisoi.
3 Nos. of Tractors, 1 concrete mixture machine, 1 paddy threshing machine, One 4 wheeler (Bolero) & 2 two wheelers and household articles worth around Rs.46 lakhs of Bisoi.
After thorough search, inventory and further enquiry, the income, expenditure and assets of ADEO S Partha Sarathi Bisoi were calculated and he was found in possession of disproportionate assets which were 300% in excess of his known sources of income.
Investigation of the case is in progress.
