Raipur. Interstate bus stand has been constructed in Bhathagaon. From where buses are being operated from Raipur city to all the cities, in which separate gates have been made for the entry and exit of the buses, a meeting of the bus operators was held and instructions were given that they will board and disembark the passengers only inside the bus stand and neither Will park on the common road and fill the passengers. The bus operators were parking the passengers on the road in front of the bus stand gate number 1 and 2, which was disrupting the traffic.
On receiving the complaint of which, on the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police, Raipur, Sachindra Kumar Choubey, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Raipur, Karan Kumar Uke, Sushanto Banerjee and Gurjit Singh, under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Raipur, Traffic Station Incharge, Bhathagaon Bus Stand, dated 26th December. On 2023, action was taken against 42 bus drivers who stopped the vehicles at Bus Stand Gate No. 1 and 2 and Bhathagaon Village Chowk and boarded the passengers, a fine of ₹ 32400 was collected and the bus drivers were instructed to board and disembark the passengers inside the bus stand.
Let us tell you that similarly, action was taken against 132 bus drivers who parked the bus on the road near Telibandha police station and boarded the passengers. Traffic police action is continuing against the passenger buses which disturb the traffic system by loading and unloading passengers on the common road. There is an appeal to the bus operators not to disturb the traffic system by stopping the buses in front of the bus stand gate, at Bhathagaon Chowk and other main roads, to disembark and board the passengers only at the designated stoppages.
