Action by Chakradharnagar Police, 2 youths caught transporting liquor

Raigarh raigarh news. On the directions of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, police is continuously taking action to curb the illegal sale of liquor. In this episode, during patrolling, the patrolling party of police station Chakradharnagar, on the information of an informer, caught English liquor / beer carrying for illegal sale on a motorcycle Hero Extreme near Jamunain Chowk.

chhattisgarh news Police station in-charge Chakradharnagar Inspector Prashant Rao received information from an informer that two persons are carrying liquor on a motorcycle and taking it towards Kelo Bridge for illegal sale. On the information, the station in-charge sent Head Constable Hem Prakash Son for action. Police Patrolling blocked Jamunain Chowk and caught two persons carrying liquor in cartons on a motorcycle Hero Extreme.

On enquiry, the youth driving the bike told his name as Neeraj Kumar Saha, son of Vinod Prasad Saha, age 25 years, resident of Riyapara, Kotwali Police Station, Raigarh and the youth sitting behind told his name as Krishna Budha, son of Surendra Budha, age 23 years, resident of Skylonge Hotel Jute Mill, Jute Mill Police Station. 12 pieces of Budweiser beer and 01 bottle of English liquor of Signature Company were found in the carton kept with them. When the accused were found carrying liquor for illegal sale, illegal liquor totaling 8.50 liters worth ₹ 4,080 and motor cycle CG 17 AL 0646 were seized and action was taken against the accused in Chakradharnagar Police Station under Section 34(2), 59(a) of the Excise Act. Head constable Hem Prakash Son, constable Abhay Yadav and Chandra Kumar Banjare were involved in the liquor raid.
