ACB raids police station, outpost in-charge and ASI arrested

Baikunthpur. The Ambikapur branch of the Anti-Crime Branch has taken a major action and arrested two police officers for accepting bribes. This action has caused a stir in the police department. The accused officers are currently being interrogated, and further legal proceedings are underway.

According to preliminary information, a complaint was filed with the ACB against outpost in-charge Abdul Munaf and ASI Dhruv Prasad Yadav, posted at the Bachrapodi police outpost in Baikunthpur district. The complainant alleged that the outpost in-charge was demanding money from him, threatening to implicate him in a false case.

Taking the complaint seriously, the ACB devised a trap. As per the plan, the complainant was sent to the outpost in-charge with the bribe amount. As soon as the accused officer accepted the money, the ACB team arrested him on the spot. ACB officials stated that legal action is being taken against the accused. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
