A young man entered a house to insult a woman, now behind bars

Janjgir news. The police arrested and sent to jail the accused youth who molested a woman by entering her house at night. The case is of Pamgarh Police Station. According to the police, a woman of the police station area was in her house at 9:45 pm on June 8. The children were sleeping in another room of the house. At the same time, Akash Khanna, 21 years, son of late Gudda Khanna, a resident of Chandipara, started knocking on the door of the house.

When the woman opened the door, he entered the house and started molesting her with the intention of insulting her. When the woman screamed, he punched her and threatened to kill her and ran away. On the woman’s report, a case was registered against Akash Khanna under sections 456, 354, 354 (a), 506, 323 of the Indian Penal Code and taken into investigation. The police took the accused Akash Khanna into custody and interrogated him, on which he confessed his crime. The accused youth was arrested and produced in the court from where he was sent to jail on judicial remand.
